Režisérka Víra Čákanyová vede ve filmu Poznámky z Eremocénu fiktivní dialog se svým budoucím virtuálním já, zvědavě a kriticky zkoumaje potenciál technologie „blockchain” a umělé inteligence. Mohou přinést řešení složitých globálních problémů, jako klimatické změny či krize zastupitelské demokracie? Audiovizuální pohlednice, kterou autorka posílá do budoucna kombinuje deníkové záznamy na filmovou surovinu a obrazy z 3D skeneru, čímž zdůrazňuje napětí mezi analogovou a digitální budoucností lidstva.

A movie from a future that doesn't exist yet. In the film Notes from Eremocén, director Víra Čákanyová conducts a fictional dialogue with her future virtual self, curiously and critically examines the potential of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence. Can they bring solutions to complex global problems, such as climate change or the crisis of representative democracy? The audiovisual postcard that the author sends to the future combines diary entries on film material and images from a 3D scanner, thereby emphasizing the tension between the analog and digital future of humanity.
