Pro Michaela a Annu je cestování tím největším bohatstvím. Poháněni zvědavostí společně objevují barvitá zákoutí nejrůznějších částí světa. Když ale dorazí do himálajských hor v Nepálu, hranice se uzavřou; svět ochromí pandemie koronaviru.

Namísto pohybu nucená izolace. Halas pouličních trhů i náhodných setkání s místními náhle utichá a všichni se stahují do svých obydlí. Pro svobodu milující dvojici se lockdown stává výzvou. Kvůli uzavřeným hranicím jsou nuceni zůstat ve vesnici. Ubíhající dny se zprvu zdají nekonečné, postupně se ale dvojice turistů stává součástí místní komunity, kde se objevuje prostor pro sdílení a vzájemnou pomoc. Pandemie se ukazuje být příležitostí k zastavení, při kterém lze spatřit hloubku a pestrost každodennosti bez neustálé potřeby ji měnit a posouvat. Cesta za poznáním možná vždy netkví v pohybu kupředu. Může se objevit tam, kde ji člověk nejméně čeká: tady a teď.

For Michael and Anna, travel is the greatest wealth. Driven by curiosity, they discover colorful corners of various parts of the world together. But when they arrive in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal, the borders close; the world will be paralyzed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Forced isolation instead of movement. The din of street markets and random encounters with locals suddenly subsides and everyone retreats to their homes. For the freedom-loving couple, the lockdown becomes a challenge. Due to the closed borders, they are forced to stay in the village. The passing days seem endless at first, but gradually the pair of tourists becomes part of the local community, where space for sharing and mutual help appears. The pandemic turns out to be an opportunity to stop, during which one can see the depth and variety of the everyday without the constant need to change and shift it. The path to knowledge may not always consist of moving forward. It can appear where you least expect it: here and now.
